Shut it, Alan, I want you to stop.
1. Are your England flags made in England (or your Union Jacks made in Britain)? If not, you are taking work away from the people you profess to support.
2. Are your flags made of plastic-based materials, such as polyester or nylon? If so, you are littering the local (and damaging the global) environment that you profess to be enhancing.
3. Are your flags attached to civic infrastructure, such as lamp-posts, that are not your own private property? If so, the cost to the local authority for removing them will impact negatively upon the communities you profess to support.
4. If your answers to these questions are yes, no, and no, and you still wish to proceed with your jingoistic flutterings, please make sure you have checked your angles.
