What a horrid little oik Cristiano Ronaldo is. That he has some footballing skills is not in doubt - he played well in the World Cup semi-final with France. However, he is also a conniving, devious cheat, and FIFA don't have the balls to do anything about it. Repeatedly throughout the tournament he has tried to con the referee by diving to the ground in the penalty area, or feigning injury when no contact was made. Why does he never receive yellow cards, or retrospective bans? His behaviour is disgusting, as is that of many other Portuguese players, and I took great delight in watching him sob his pathetic little face off after losing the semi-final. The great pity is that Wayne Rooney didn't smack him in the chops when he had the chance.
