The opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics is to be themed 'Isles of Wonder', according to artistic director Danny Boyle:

I like Mr Boyle's work very much, so I am sure it is going to be great. If, however, he is still in need of a really top-drawer beginning, my Shane MacGowan idea is still available.
