Ordered the excellent George and Sam through Amazon market-place, paying $2.77 (+P&P) for a second-hand copy. When the book reached me, I noticed it had a sticker saying 'Prince of Wales Hospice, 80p' attached to the back. Is it possible that an online bookstore is snaffling up its wares from charity shops at bargain-basement prices and then selling them up at a mark-up? Rather unethical if they are.
