A message about climate change for people who don't want to do anything about it

I have two quick points to make:
1. Contrary to what climate change sceptics (and possibly the public) believe, "science" is not one community where everyone agrees with everyone else solely to steal a march on non-scientists. Very few scientists agree wholly with each other, and in fact spend most of their time writing papers questioning other people's data and interpretations. Given this, if they reach a consensus that global warming is happening, and that it is being induced by human activity, it is quite likely to be true.
2. Even if global warming is not anthropogenic, it is blatantly obvious that the vast expulsion of greenhouse gases and other pollutants into the atmosphere is not a good thing and should be reduced as quickly and as dramatically as possible. So even if you believe the climate is changing entirely of its own accord, that's no excuse not to change your behaviour.
